Elena J. Badessa

91, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Greenville Center in Greenville, RI. Elena was the wife of the late Joseph V. "Val" Badessa. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Olindo and Rose (Gibellario) Cipolla. Elena is survived by her three children, Joseph P. Badessa and his life-long companion Cynthia Bousquet, John W. Badessa and his wife Colleen, all of Cranston, and Paul V. Badessa and his wife Shelley of Burrillville, Glendale. She was the sister of William Cipolla of Coventry. Elena was the cherished grandmother of eight and great grandmother of one. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., followed by a burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
