Elena (Torti) Capuano

90, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. Elena was the wife of the late Tommaso Capuano. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Bernardo and Evelina (Amaral) Torti. Mrs. Capuano worked as a jewelry maker for Parco Company.

She is survived by her two children; Bernardo Capuano of Cranston and Francesca Snyder and her husband Alvin of Smithfield. Elena was the grandmother of Tommaso Capuano and the sister of Rocco, Donata, Ginetta, Rosina, Anita, and the late Guido and Elena.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday morning from 9-10 a.m.
