ELENA N. (RUZZANO) D'ALESSANDRO

97, of Clarence St., Providence, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas D'Alessandro. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giacinto and Aurelia (Nardolillo) Ruzzano.

Mrs. D'Alessandro worked in the jewelry industry before retiring and was a lifelong resident of Silver Lake.

She was the devoted mother of Gloria M. D'Alessandro of North Hollywood, CA and the late Claire L. Cataldo, Anthony J. D'Alessandro and John N. D'Alessandro; loving grandmother of three; loving great-grandmother of eight; and dear sister of Lucy Kenyon of Port Charlotte, FL, Anna Marseglia of Phoenix, AZ, Nicholas Ruzzano of Cranston, RI and the late Amelia Allessandro, Rose Marseglia, Anthony, Armondo and Luigi Ruzzano.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are MONDAY MORNING from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
