Elizabeth R. "Betty" (Orticerio) Caligiuri

92, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence, with her beloved husband of 66 years, Joseph A. Caligiuri by her side. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rose (Ferrante) Orticerio.

Betty worked for 25 years as a sales person for Gladdings, Inc. She enjoyed playing golf with the ladies golf league at the Alpine Country Club for over 25 years.

Betty was the sister of the late Michael, Robert and Anthony Orticerio, Ethel LeBlanc, Ana Santoro, Celia Orticerio, Mary Altruda and Virginia Matkovic.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Augustine Church, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS will be held on THURSDAY MORNING from 8 – 9 am.
