Elizabeth “Bette Boots” (Barone) Canario

92, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Isabella (Zambarano) Barone.

Elizabeth worked as a waitress for the former Sonny Russo’s Restaurant in Cranston for 16 years. She then worked at Venda Ravioli on Atwells Ave before retiring in 2009.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving children, Janice I. Botelho, Anthony J. Canario and Lois G. Giustini and her husband Robert, all of Cranston. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Elizabeth was the sister of the late Marie Sasso and Nicholas Barone.

Her funeral services are private.
