85, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2014, at South Bay Manor, South Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late William B. McDonald and James C. Reed. Born in Hershey, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara "Mae" (Meckley) Finn. She was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, Hartford, CT and Syracuse University, Class of 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture. She is survived by, her loving children, William McDonald of West Hartford, CT, Kathleen A. McDonald of Denver, CO, Daniel J. McDonald, Narragansett, Thomas R. McDonald, Waitsfield, VT, James P. McDonald, Bethlehem CT, and her step-children Pamela J. Bayha, Portland, CT, David A. Reed, Lantana, FL and Lynda R. Derosier, Bristol, CT. She was the cherished grandmother of William C. McDonald, Timothy A. McDonald, Landes Randall, Sam Randall, Jack S. McDonald, Rowdie McDonald, Mac McDonald, and Scout McDonald. Betty Lou was the sister of Richard Finn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett. Betty's family would like to thank the many people who cared for Elizabeth over the past several years at South Bay Manor. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
