Elizabeth "Betty" Chevian

formerly of Clematis St., Providence, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Golden Crest Nursing Center in North Providence.  Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hovsep and Baidzar (DerMardirosian) Chevian.  Betty worked at Eagle Laundry & Dry Cleaners on Charles St., Providence for many years before retiring; and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

She was the dear sister of Mesrob Chevian of Cranston, Rose Antonelli of Providence and the late Mgrdich “Michael” Chevian, Mary Grant, Alice Mangione, Charles Chevian and Tateos “Tate” Chevian; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in STS. SAHAG & MESROB ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH, Providence, with a FUNERAL SERVICE at 11 a.m., followed by Burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
