97, of Cranston, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Perry. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina Strongoli. Mrs. Perry was a bookkeeper for over 40 years before retiring.
Her family looked forward to Sunday dinners and holidays enjoying Elvira’s talent for baking and her company. She was also known for her sewing where she made her children many childhood outfits. Seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would light up her life and she always treasured spending time with her daughters. Elvira enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Diane Perry of Cranston and Ann Marcotte of Cranston. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Elaine Cerrito and leaves behind her son in-law William Cerrito of Cranston. Elvira was the cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jenna) Cerrito, Lauren Cerrito, Malaree (Adam) Fontes; adored great-grandmother of Jacob Cerrito and Noah Fontes. She was the sister of the late Carolina Santangini, Antonietta Storti, and Ida Calgangi.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1st, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
