Elvira E (Ragosta) Scotti
101, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at West Shore Health Center in Warwick. She was the beloved wife for 75 years of the late Giacomo "Jack" Scotti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Matouri) Ragosta.
Mrs. Scotti was co-owner with her husband of the former Manhattan Sales in Cranston for 25 years before retiring in 1976.
She was the devoted mother of John J. Scotti and his wife Ann of Warwick, Robert Scotti and his wife Jadwiga of Wejherowo, Poland and Connie Deveney of Fort Meyers, FL; loving grandmother of six; loving great-grandmother of fourteen; loving great great-grandmother of two; and dear sister of the late Helen DeStefano, Emilio "Yank" Ragosta and Armando Ragosta.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Catherine's Church, 3253 Post Rd., Warwick at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
