Emma A. (DeAngelis) Aglione

90, of Johnston, RI, passed away Saturday April 2, 2016 at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home in Cranston, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Aglione. They were married for over 55 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes (Arcese) DeAngelis.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Eileen A. Andrews and her husband Ken of Ormond Beach, FL, Lisa J. Foncellino and her husband Michael of Johnston, RI, one son the late Anthony M. Aglione, and his wife Beatrice of Ormond Beach, FL. One brother, the late Frank DeAngelis and sister-in-law Maureen of North Providence. Four grandchildren, Melissa, Toni Marie, Jeremy and Michael. Three great-grandchildren, Kendra, Ashley and Lilliana.

Emma was a fun loving woman who loved to travel, cook and be around family and friends. She spoke often of her loving husband, Tony and now they are reunited in heaven.

Emma's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home and Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI for the exceptional care that she received.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Foundation for Fighting Blindness, Chanin Building, 122 E 42nd St., New York, NY 10168 or www.blindness.org.
