Emma Asilis

formerly of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at The Holiday Retirement Skilled Nursing Home in Manville.  Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Rosa (Tabar) Asilis.

Emma worked as a CNA for the State Medical Center for 20 years until her retirement.

She was the loving mother of Miriam Toledo and her husband Manuel of Clearwater, FL, Wilfredo Nunez of Cranston, Mayra Curran and her husband Raymond of Providence, Maria Cheryl Luciano and her husband Tony of Cranston, Chico Brown of Pawtucket, and the late Danilo Nunez, Jr.; 21 cherished grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.  She was the sister of 2 late brothers.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Thursday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.
