94, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria (Davide) Papitto.
Emma worked for 47 years at the General Electric Base Plant in Providence. She also worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a dietician for 50 years. She was a participant at the Hope Alzheimer's Center.
She is survived by her loving son, Lucien Perron of Providence, and dear brother Ralph Papitto and his wife Barbara of Hope. She was the sister of the late Olga Izzo.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Entombment will take place in the Papitto family mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
