83, of Cranston, passed away on December 12, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Antero and Felicita Anduce Diaz. Known affectionately as DoA�a Keta, she was well known for her culinary gifts and her kindness. DoA�a Keta was the hostess of the feast of "Octavitas" to benefit Latino Public Radio where she shared, with hundreds of guests, the traditional Christmas dishes from Puerto Rico. LPR awarded the Inspiring Leadership Award bearing her name in 2013. During her career as an executive secretary for the Department of Pediatrics of the District Hospital of Fajardo Puerto Rico for 30 years, she was considered a second mother to the hundreds of pediatric residents who trained there. DoA�a Keta moved to RI 25 years ago to be close to her son Dr. Pablo Rodriquez and her grandchildren. She resided in Presidential Place Apartments in Cranston. Dona Keta volunteered at the International Institute of RI and attended Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Providence and also volunteered at the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her sons Dr. Pablo Rodriguez and his wife Diane, and Alfredo Rodriguez. DoA�a Keta was the grandmother of Pablo, Enrique, Rafael Miguel and Alfredo (Tito) Rodriguez. She was the sister of Sixta and also the aunt of Hilda.

A funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Latino Public Radio, 1246 Cranston Street, Cranston 02920, in support of the yearly Leadership award carrying her name.
