Erminio Merluzzo
90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 17, 2015. He was the husband of Margaret (Macera) Merluzzo. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Luigi and Amalia (Squizerro) Merluzzo. Erminio was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years until his retirement.
Besides his wife, Erminio is survived by his loving children, Claudia Merluzzo of California, and Paul Merluzzo of Cranston. He was also pre-deceased by 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Robert Bellarmine Church and Charitable Ministries, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
