Erza (Gambini) Saccoccio

of Cranston, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Rinaldo “Ray” Saccoccio. Born in Altoona, PA, she was a daughter of the late Augustino and Josephine (DiCandito) Gambini.

Erza is survived by her children Robert Saccoccio and his wife Patricia, and Thomas Saccoccio and his wife Shirley, all of Cranston.  She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, Kristin and Steven Saccoccio, and also great grandmother of five.  Erza was predeceased by six siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence 02904.
