Esther Y. (Palombo) Chille

of North Providence, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Chille. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Vittoria (Pistacchio) Palombo.

Esther worked at Trifari Jewelry for many years until its closing and later at Universal Optical until her retirement.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Chille and his wife Lila of North Providence, and a daughter Noreen Fantozzi of Cranston.  Esther was the grandmother of Kenneth M. Chille, Lori Saucier and Kristin DiSpirito and her husband Kevin; and great-grandmother of Jakob Chille, Matthew and Gianna DiSpirito.  She was the sister of the late Angelo, Frank, Thomas, Peter, John and Louis Palombo, Bertha Nichols and Elsie Contillo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 8th at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston, followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
