100, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on April 25th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence on June 4, 1925, Eugene was the son of the late Gennaro and Anna (Correra) Bifulco.
Eugene was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 75 years, Justine (Pagliaro) Bifulco. Eugene leaves behind his dedicated son, Steven, and his wife Diane of Cranston. He was the father of the late Jean Marie Cardarelli (husband Anthony). Eugene was the cherished brother of the late Vincenza Bedetta and brother-in-law of Virginia Pagliaro. He was the beloved grandfather of Regina Bifulco (husband Michael Rivard), Jennifer Bifulco, Kevin Cardarelli (wife Leslie), and Mark Cardarelli (wife Bethany); great-grandchildren, Autumn, Grayson, Matthew, Angelica, and many nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a devoted, kind man who was adored by his family. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart and was known for expressing his feelings of love and gratitude. Eugene was one-of-a-kind and was loved by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Eugene was hard working and a jack-of-all trades, with most of his career spent as a commercial glazier, working for Superior Glass until his retirement. Eugene took pride in his work and installed glass for many large storefronts and businesses in Rhode Island. Much of his glass work still stands today, showing the precision and quality of his work.
Eugene was a man of great strength and lived independently until his passing. He enjoyed cooking Italian food but also liked to experiment with new takes on traditional recipes. If you stopped in, you’d often find him in the kitchen and you would never leave hungry. He always made everyone feel at home and he lived a life well lived.
His funeral will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 9:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Cranston, at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday Morning from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St Jude’s Children’s research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
