Eugenia (Pallas) Zaharakos

of Providence, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter K. and Mary (Vollis) Pallas; and step-daughter to the late Stamatia (Avdoulos) Pallas.

Eugenia was employed at the former Uncas Mfg. Company before starting her family. She was a lifetime member of the Church of the Annunciation and devoted her life to her family.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Suzanne M. Zaharakos , Nicholas P. Zaharakos, and Constantine P. Zaharakos all of Providence; loving grandmother of Arianna A. Zaharakos; and dear sister of the late Demetra Signore and Deamonda Pallas. She was the former wife of the late Peter N. Zaharakos.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday, August 28th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Cranston.  Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8p.m.
