Evelyn E. Gormley

74, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna (Zotti) Gormley. Evelyn worked for the Providence Community Health Center for many years before retiring. She was an avid coin and baseball card collector. She also loved her trips to the casino, and spending 5 months out of the year in New Port Richey, FL with her sister Marie.

Evelyn is survived by her loving daughter, Lynda Nikodem and her husband Stephen of Warwick; cherished grandsons Michael and Matthew Nikodem; dear siblings, Marie Schulz of New Port Richey, FL, James Gormley of Henderson, NV, Walter Gormley of Johnston, and the late Vera Fogell and Freddy Gormley. She is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews who were admired and loved as though they were her own.

Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 7:00 pm. VISITING HOURS will precede her service from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
