Evelyn A. Grenier "Auntie"
97, of Putnam, CT passed away on August 20, 2018 at the Matulitis Skilled Care , Putnam , CT. Born November 13th 1920 in Providence,RI. She worked in Hood's Company in Providence as a bookkeeper for 24 years. She also worked for a Homemaker Service in Cranston, RI until she was 79 years old . She lived in Killingly , CT on Jacques Rd. with her niece Lorraine. She was presently living at Matulitis Skilled Care in Putnam, CT. She was a second mother to her nieces the late Evelyn (Almon) Boler and Lorraine (Almon) LaGarde of Killingly, CT. She leaves behind her niece Mrs. LaGarde, a grand niece Kimberly (LaGarde) Briere , a great grand niece Jordan Briere all of Killingly, CT and a cousin Jane Rapoza of Cranston , RI. She was known as having a great sense of humor and a caring personality.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston, RI . Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston, RI. VISITING HOURS: Monday morning 9-10 am.
