of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Parsons. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Evelyn Rose (Ricci) Parsons and Everett Brenden Parsons, Sr.
Everett had a strong passion for his family and country, serving in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. He was the recipient of two Bronze Stars.
Besides his wife, Everett is survived by his loving children, Brenda Dowlatshahi of East Greenwich, RI, Steven Parsons of Groton CT, and his loving step-children Lauren Butler, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Joseph Simon of Lincoln, RI; cherished grandchildren Dr. Justin Dowlatshahi, Alexander Dowlatshahi, Stephanie Parsons, Danielle Butler and Anthony Butler; siblings, Charles Parsons, Roberta Parsons, Cynthia Parsons, and the late Thelma Parsons, Raymond Parsons and Geraldine Donahue. In addition, he had many loving nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service for immediate family only was held at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, followed by a private burial at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
