Everett "Andy" O. Anderson

81, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, surrounded by his wife and children. He was the beloved husband of Teresa Roy, who never left his side during his illness. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Laura Anderson of Warwick and Everett Anderson, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Reading, Massachusetts; He also leaves Teresa’s son, Todd Lauer of North Carolina. Everett was the cherished grandfather of Rory Provencal, Casey, Troy, Jason and Brady Anderson, Brittni and Nikki Lauer.

Andy was a Letter Carrier in East Greenwich for 25 years, until his retirement in 1992.  Part of his route was on Main St., where he shouted greetings to passerby’s and to business owners. After his retirement he was a loyal employee at E.G. Photo up until the time of his illness.

He will truly be missed by all that knew him, including many relatives and longtime friends.  He had a zest for life that was as infectious as his smile. He was a true character in every sense of the word.  Andy was a kind, generous and loyal person that would always do what he could for anyone that asked. We all have wonderful stories and memories about the times we spent with him that will be cherished forever. A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, May 30 from 2pm to 5pm, at the E.G. Firemen’s Hall, 80 Queen St., E. Greenwich, RI.  All are invited to attend.
