FAINA BRYANSKAYA

of Brighton, MA, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at her granddaughter’s home in Warwick. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she was the daughter of the late David and Bertha Bryanskaya.

Faina was a pianist, author, lecturer and professor at Leningrad State Conservatory and Longy School of Music and she held a PhD in Music.

She was the mother of the late Diana Smirnov and sister of the late Frida Bryanskaya. She was the grandmother of Anya Martira and great-grandmother of Gianni and Isabella Martira.

Relatives and friends may gather at Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston on Saturday, October13th at 10:45 a.m. to follow in procession for committal prayers at 11 a.m.
