78, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael C. Tridento. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Palumbo) Bruno. She was a bus driver for the Cranston School Department for many years before her retirement. Spending time with her family was her passion. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, traveling, and especially going to the casino.
She is survived by her loving children, Gail A. Kaplan and her husband Steven and Michael A. Tridento and his wife Leslie, all of Cranston. Phyllis was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Michaela, Sarah, and Kelsie. She was the sister of Jordan “Rocky” Bruno of Johnston and Anna Votto of Cranston. She sadly missed her beloved dog “Pepe”.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
