Felix 'Phil' DiIorio, Jr.

89, of West Warwick, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy E. (Colarusso) DiIorio.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Felix and Amelia (Silvestri) DiIorio.

Felix was the owner of the former Phil DiIorio Painting& Roofing Contracting Company for over 40 years.  He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran; and a member of United Commercial Travelers.

He was the devoted father of Phil J. DiIorio of West Greenwich, Steven M. DiIorio and his companion Colleen Kelley, David A. DiIorio and his wife Stacy Jones of West Warwick and Robert A. DiIorio and his wife Lisa of East Greenwich; dear brother of Bridget Brault of Charlestown and the late Joseph and Jack DiIorio, Eleanor Russo and Rose Taylor; loving grandfather of five; loving great-grandfather of six; and dear friend of Ethel Martin of Warwick.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, August 10th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 70 Church St., West Warwick at 10 a.m.  Burial with military honors will take place at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
