Fernanda P. (Pereira) Cordeiro

74, of Coventry, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Jose B. Cordeiro.  Born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Fernanda was a daughter of the late Virginio and Conceicao (Raposa) Pereira.  Along with her husband, Fernanda was the owner and operator of the former JC Jewelry.

She is survived by her children Jose Cordeiro, Maria Cordeiro, Lucia Oliveira, Nuno Cordeiro, and Brenda Jencks.  Fernanda was the cherished grandmother of ten and dear sister of three.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:45 a.m.  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence at 11 a.m.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Burial will place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
