90, of Wakefield, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2015 at home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Marco and Sabina (Starnino) D'Iorio. Phyllis was a medical laboratory technician at both Roger Williams Medical Center and Rhode Island Hospital for over twenty-five years before her retirement. She is survived by her loving daughter Susan R. Restivo and her husband Edmund, Jr. of Narragansett. Phyllis was the cherished grandmother of Alaina Goldberg and her husband Michael of Cranston, Jon Restivo and his husband Aden of Foster, and Daniel Restivo and his fiancAC.e Emma of Seattle, WA, and her beloved great-granddaughter Emilia Rose Goldberg. She was the sister-in-law of Marie D'Iorio of Johnston and Americo Mallozzi of Providence. Phyllis was the sister of the late Guerino, Edward, Joseph, Louis, Armando, Alfred, and Vincent D'Iorio, Isaura Keates, Assunta Ianacarro, Anna Petrella, Ida McLeod, Rose Scopetta, and Evelina Mallozzi. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
