Filomena (Tagliatela) DiRaffaele
96, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. Filomena was the beloved wife of the late Gaetano DiRaffaele. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Nassa) Tagliatela. Filomena worked as a jewelry designer for over twenty years.
She is survived by her sister Margaret Moretti of Johnston. Filomena was also the sister of the late Domenic, Diamond, and Emilio "Brother Mark" Tagliatela. Filomena also leaves behind four nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
