93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Palermo. Born in Caserta, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Bartolomeo and Pasqualina (DeCivita) Mancini.
Filomena is survived by her loving children Angela Palermo of Scituate, Pasquale Palermo and his wife Debra of Johnston. She was a cherished grandmother of Santina and Adriana Leathers, Salvatore Palermo and Orlando DiFruscio III; a great-grandmother of Landon and Brianne DiFruscio. She was a sister of Vincenza DiLazzaro of North Providence, Carmelina Giuducci of Italy, Giovanna Cioffi of Cranston, and Vittorio Mancini of Cranston.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
