Filomena M. (Mancini) Palermo

93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Palermo. Born in Caserta, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Bartolomeo and Pasqualina (DeCivita) Mancini.

Filomena is survived by her loving children Angela Palermo of Scituate, Pasquale Palermo and his wife Debra of Johnston. She was a cherished grandmother of Santina and Adriana Leathers, Salvatore Palermo and Orlando DiFruscio III; a great-grandmother of Landon and Brianne DiFruscio. She was a sister of Vincenza DiLazzaro of North Providence, Carmelina Giuducci of Italy, Giovanna Cioffi of Cranston, and Vittorio Mancini of Cranston.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904.
