Frances (Puleo) Angelina

97 of Johnston, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at her home in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late George Angelina. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny Puleo. Frances was a skilled upholstery seamstress who worked for a number of local interior decorators. Her expertise was specifically requested for the furnishings for the penthouse restaurants at the top of the South Tower of the original World Trade Tower Center in New York City. For many years she and her husband of more than 62 years were active members of Faith Christian Center, Seekonk, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her children Marie Mason and her husband John of Simi Valley, California. Sandra Macari and her husband Rocco, with whom she lived, of Johnston. And son Pastor John Angelina and his wife Mirjana of Munich, Germany. Francis was the grandmother of 5: Paul Maloney his wife Dawn, April Burd her husband Joshua, Kristen Mason, Jessica Angelina her husband Sasa, and Phillip Angelina his wife Carina. She was the great-grandmother of 5: Isabella Maloney, Eoin Burd, Brayden Burd, Logan Burd, and Anthony Mason. Also missing her is her faithful companion Molly her rescue dog.

Francis is survived by her brothers Steve Puleo, sister Annette Marinaro, and brother Ronald Puleo. She was preceded in death by her sisters Maria Manni, Joan Peteruti, Diane Capece and her brother Domenic Puleo.

A memorial service will be held at FAITH CHRISTIAN CENTER, 95 Sagamore Road, Seekonk, Massachusetts on Tuesday, the 28th of February, at 10:00am. A private burial ceremony will be held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
