90, of North Providence, died on Monday March 9, 2015, surrounded by members of her family. She was born in Knightsville ( Cranston ) to Giovanni and Josephine (Zuena) Fabrizio on June 20,1924. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred DiMuccio.
Frances is survived by her brother Ludovico (Lindy) Fabrizio and his wife Molly of Warwick ; sisters Mary Carpentier and her husband Peter, and Anna Fabrizio, all of Cranston; the late Rosina Soscia and her husband Anthony Soscia residing in Cranston. Her 10 nephews and nieces, their spouses and 12 grand nephews and nieces were her joy.
Known adoringly as Auntie Frances to her family and closest friends,
Frances was a resident of Cranston until moving to North Providence in 1950. Frances was a past President of the Lymansville Women's Club. Serving as treasurer of the North Providence Antiquity Society and a member of the North Providence Democratic Party, she was instrumental in the restoration projects of North Providence's original Town Hall of 1879 and the Bicentennial Committee.

A graduate of Johnson Wales Business School (now University), Frances fervently exercised her learned skills in office administration, retiring 4 years ago at the age of 86. The office manager of the Ronci Mfg. Company for over 20 years, she continued her career at Sprague Industries and eventually Cranston Medical Inc. Frances instilled in all the privilege and importance of dedication and hard work.

A faithful member of St. Thomas Church North Providence, Frances served as a Eucharistic minister for over 30 years both at St. Thomas and at Hopkins Manor in Smithfield where she incessantly volunteered.
An ardent lover of all sports, bowling, basketball and dancing were her favorites.
Her greatest joy and legacy can be found in her family. Known for her energy and enthusiasm, Frances stood tall as she unceasingly reminded all that success in life relies on the building and maintaining of family bonds.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Thursday at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, Providence at 11am. VISITING HOURS Thursday morning 9-10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Kindly omit flowers.
