Francis Cherubino
93, formerly of Delmont St., Johnston, passed away of Thursday, April 16, 2015 at RI Veterans Home in Bristol. He was the beloved husband of the late Pasqualina "Lena" (Petrullo) Cherubino. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Flaviano and Filomena (Salvatore) Cherubino.
Mr. Cherubino was a purchasing agent for over 40 years and worked at Allen & Reed Company and later at Reardon Company. He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran; a member of UCT Council 67; and Johnston Senior Association.
He was the devoted father of Francis J. Cherubino and his wife Nancy and Colleen Bonollo and her husband Dennis, all of Johnston; loving grandfather of Kevin Cherubino, Nicole Kelly, Edward Pellegrino and Melissa Taylor; loving great-grandfather of four; and dear brother of the late Fred Cherubino, Mary Louise Zinni, Helen Cherubino and Ida DeNucci.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd, Johnston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are MONDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
