FRANK E. RUGGIERI

84, of Warwick passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 12, 2016.  He was the husband of Barbara (Parrillo) Ruggieri and the late Roberta (Goodman) Ruggieri.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late Ralph and Anna (Rioles) Ruggieri.

Frank was the owner along with his son of Ralph’s Oil of Providence which is a 3 generation business. He was a US Navy Veteran serving aboard the USS Willis A. Lee during the Korean War Era. Frank loved spending time with his family and many enjoyable times in Aruba.

Besides his wife he was the father of  Lisa Fain, Ralph “Rick” Ruggieri and his wife Patricia, Cheryl Witt and her husband Michael and Lori Mancini; grandfather of seven and brother of the late Antonetta Ruggieri and Josephine Ciano.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mercy Church, East Greenwich at 10am.  Burial, with military honors, will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
