Frank Melone, Sr

89, of Warwick, passed away on Friday April 1, 2016 at Briarcliff Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Antonetta "Etta (Venagro) Melone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Flora (Rosario) Melone. Frank was the Manager of the former Paul Bailey Ford for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He was a WW-II United States Navy veteran and was past member of the East Natick Veterans club and the Knights of Columbus Warwick.
He was the beloved father of Susan A. Nievera of Cranston, Lucille A. Reilly of East Greenwich, Anne M. Hughes of Warwick, Elaine A. Bardoussi of Warwick and Frank M. Melone, Jr of Warwick; loving grandfather of seven; loving great-grandfather of two, and dear brother of Ann Marie LaBelle of Narragansett and the late Carlo Melone.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Wednesday at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church Oaklawn Ave Cranston at 9 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
