Frank Saccoccio, 91 entered into eternal life surrounded by the peace and love of his family on March 3, 2026. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Domenico and Lucia (Stamenga) Saccoccio. He was the loving and cherished husband of Rita (Pezzullo) Saccoccio.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. His commitment to serving his country reflected the dedication he exhibited throughout his life. After his service, he opened and operated his own appliance repair business, Saccoccio Appliance Service. After sixty plus years in business, at the age of 88 he retired from doing in-home service calls. He never stopped fixing and tinkering with everything around the house.
Frank was a very enthusiastic hockey fan and Providence Bruins season ticket holder. He regularly attended all home games, and was known for being one of the liveliest and most vocal supporters in the stands. At home he also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and playing computer word games with his wife.
To Frank, his family was the most important part of his life. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, seeing them as his proudest accomplishments. He enjoyed cooking and grilling, providing great meals surrounded by his loved ones. He always brought his unique dry sense of humor into every gathering. Those who knew him appreciated not just the warmth of his personality but also his keen wit.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Dr. Maria Saccoccio and her husband Dr. John Wade, of North Kingstown and Karen Parrillo and her husband Daniel Parrillo, of Johnston, and his son, Frank Saccoccio of Cranston. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Lisa Wade, Timothy Wade, Dr. Rachel Wade, and Mitchell Parrillo. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and an extended family who cherish him and will miss him dearly. He was welcomed into the eternal embrace of his parents and siblings, preceded in death by Gino Saccoccio, Josephine Cataldi, Alice Desimone, Anna Carnevale, Angie Grille, Peter Saccoccio, Salvatore Saccoccio, and Anthony Saccoccio.
Visitation will be held at Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI, on Monday March 9, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
