86, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Orchard View Manor, Riverside. He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie (Ferrucci) Santamaria and the late Sara (Buccoliero) Santamaria. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Rose (Placido) Santamaria. Frank was a truck driver for Cardi Corporation and M.A. Gammino Construction Company. He was also the owner and operator of Frank Towing Company. Mr. Santamaria was a US Army veteran surviving during the Korean War, where he earned the bronze star. He was a flower delivery man for Flower Pot; he was also a member of Teamster 251, Knights of Columbus and the VFW. Frank is survived by his loving children, Gail Davis and her husband Doug of Coventry, Doreen Guerra and her husband Glenn, Sr. of Coventry, Lisa Scotton and her husband Anthony of West Warwick and the late Frank Santamaria. He was the cherished grandfather of Glenn, Jr., Christopher, Chad, Nicholas and Kendall, Erin, Kelsey, Jen, Kori and Karly. He was also the great-grandfather of Brady, Myles and Annabella. He was the brother of Richard Santamaria of Cranston, Mildred Swanson of VA, Janice Ruizzo of Cranston and the late Katherine Tavares. His funeral will be held on Monday, at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
