70, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at home. He was the beloved husband of fifty years to Angela C. (Baccari) DeTora. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick J. DeTora, Sr. and Mary (Manco) DeTora. Frederick was an US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War era. He was a tool maker for the former Ostby and Barton Tool & Dye Company of Warwick for over thirty years before his retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Sallyann DeTora, Frederick J. DeTora, III and his wife Ann, and Mary A. Peters and her husband Kevin, all of West Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Sabrina and Selena DeTora, Tabitha, Ariel, and Savannah Peters, and one great-granddaughter Isabella.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m.
