He resided in Warwick before coming to Port St. Lucie 13 years ago. Don enjoyed many things throughout his life but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Don retired from General Dynamics as a Marine Pipefitter, prior to that position he worked for many years as a Union Construction Laborer. He was a United States Veteran serving in The Marine Corps during the Korean War era as an MP. His passion was the many trips he took to Medjugorje, Bosnia, where Catholics took pilgrimage to apparition hill where the Virgin Mary appeared. Every time he went with the church they brought medical and infant supplies to the Orphanages there.

Even with all the busyness that life brought, he was able to build a log cabin with his own hands in Worcester, NY. Every year, along with his wife, Don took his grandchildren up to the cabin to spend two weeks where they made countless memories and shared many life stories. The life lessons they learned from their Hero, their Grandpa, are immeasurable.
