Gina Andrews, 50, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Roger Williams Medical Center, surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to her. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of John Andrews and the late Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Andrews.
Gina was a woman whose life was defined by love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others. For over 25 years, she was a cherished part of Morgan Rehab, where she served not only as a Certified Nursing Assistant, but also as a trusted presence in reception and medical records. Gina was often the first warm smile people saw and a steady source of comfort for patients and families alike. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Her giving spirit extended far beyond her workplace. Gina generously volunteered her time at the Johnston Senior Center, where she led blood pressure clinics and cared for seniors with the same tenderness and devotion she gave her own family. She had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved, and many of the seniors she helped came to think of her as one of their own.
Above all, Gina was a proud and loving mother to her five children: Dylan Andrews, Jolyssa Ortega, Kyle Andrews, Xavier Flores, and Alexander Flores. Her children were her greatest joy and the center of her world. She was also a cherished grandmother to Jadalynn, Jazilynn, and Nasir, who brought endless light and happiness into her life.
Gina shared a deep and loving bond with her partner, Salvador Flores, who stood by her side through life’s joys and challenges. She was a dear sister to John Andrews and Matthew Andrews, and she is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved brother, Luke Andrews, and her mother, Mary Elizabeth.
Gina will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her sense of humor, and the way she could brighten any room just by being in it. She loved her iced coffee, music, and was especially fond of Pitbull, whose energy and spirit she enjoyed. She had a gift for bringing people together and was truly the rock of her family, a steady loving presence who always put others before herself.
Her legacy is one of love, strength, and selflessness. Gina’s life was a beautiful example of what it means to care deeply for others, and she will be missed beyond words by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
