Gary A. Brooks
56, of North Providence, passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2016. Born in Providence, he was the youngest of five children of the late Robert J. and Lillian (Eley) Brooks.
Gary is survived by his loving daughter Kendra Brooks of Coventry and his former wife Robbin (Iadevaia) Mancini of Cranston.
He was the owner of Gary Brooks Studio, where he was a hair stylist for over 30 years. He was an avid fan of the arts and was happiest when cooking a meal.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
