Gennaro A. 'Jerry' Zeoli
89, of Delray Beach, FL formerly of Johnston, passed away on April 12, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Velia F. (Pardi) Zeoli. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph Zeoli and Louise Gibalerio and her late husband Vincent Gibalerio.
Jerry was the Director of Athletics at Moses Brown School from 1962-1993. He also coached at Moses Brown for various sports including football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in WWII.
He is survived by his loving children, Joseph A. Zeoli and his wife Laurie of Wallingford, CT, Gerald D. Zeoli and his wife Lynn of St. Petersburg, FL, and Patricia L. Middleton and her husband David of Kingston, RI; cherished grandchildren Daniel, Taylor, Christine, and Elizabeth Middleton, Allison and Natalia Zeoli, Sandi and Gregory Zeoli, and great grandson Charlie Middleton; dear sister Josephine Gama of Cranston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett on Friday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett. Burial with Military Honors will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moses Brown School, Jerry A. Zeoli Scholarship Fund, 250 Lloyd Ave., Providence, R.I. 02906.
