George Brown

of Coventry, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raymond and Theresa (Ianucci) Brown.

George was heavy equipment operator for many years before retiring.

He was the devoted father of George J. Brown and his wife Gina Lee, Denise M. Brown, Dennis M. Brown and his wife Deborah, Jeannine M. Brown, and Robert A. Brown and his wife Brandy Lee; loving grandfather of George J. Brown, Jr., Isabella R. Brown, Robert Daniel Brown, Aiva Lee and Jordan Lee; dear brother of Raymond, Richard and Harold Brown, Gladys DiMeglio, Georgia Cotoia, Patricia Feole, the late Lois Gibree, Joyce Nardone, Helen Young, Adeline Marinetti and Mildred Waddington; loving companion of Mary Cornell; and former husband of Natalie Rebello.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, January 14th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church,1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
