George E. Gismondi

89, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of the late Katherine M. (Goddit) Gismondi.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George V. and Sylvia (Golini) Gesmondi.

George worked as a welder for the MA Gammino Construction Company for many years.  Afterwards he worked for the town of Johnston until his retirement.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

George was the loving father of George M. Gismondi of Rogers, CT, April L. Gismondi of Johnston, and Gregg V. Gismondi of Johnston; brother of Ernestine A. DiPalma of Johnston, and the late Richard, Elaine, and Eugene Gesmondi.

His funeral services will be private.
