Gerald F. "Gerry" Kerr

87, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Eleanor M. (O’Donnell) Kerr for sixty-seven years.

Gerry was a journeyman electrician for New England Machine & Electric and later worked for Ryan Electric until his retirement.  He also photographed projects for DiMauro Architects.

He enjoyed woodworking and sailing; and was an avid football fan.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Jeffrey Kerr and his wife Mae from the Philippines and their daughter Shealyn Kerr; a daughter, Judith Kerr of Saunderstown and her sons, Michael Kerr and his wife Annette and their daughter Serenity and Patrick Kerr.  He was the father of the late Tara Clark; and brother of the late Carol Rayhill, James and Kenneth Kerr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10am in St. Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown.  Burial will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or to Jamestown Fire Department, Attn: Treasurer, 50 Narragansett Avenue,  Jamestown, RI 02835.
