Gianna Lucia Merolla

35, of Saunderstown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Born in Providence, she is survived by her mother and father, Lucia (Placella) Ault and Charles Ault. She was also the fiancée of the late Alexander M. Salvas. Gianna was the loving and devoted mother of Amora Astan Salvas and Lucian Alexander Salvas, who were the pride and joy of her life. Gianna was a vivacious soul with the ability to make everyone in the room laugh and being unapologetically herself. She was most known for her undeniable make-up talent and her love of music. As a jack of all trades, she has made her enigmatic presence known throughout a variety of fields work. In the end, she held close all that was near and dear to her.

She is also survived by her dear siblings, Capbriella Labrie, Cody Labrie, Candice Ault, Kendra Ault, Jenna Kober, Tyler Degnan and Alexzander Ault; paternal grandmother Suzie Merolla; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a small circle of friends who will miss her dearly.

Gianna was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John & Mary Placella, paternal grandfather, Ralph Merolla Sr.; George & Elizabeth Ault and Ms. Elizabeth Williams.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather outside the main gates of St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 1:15 pm followed by committal prayers at 1:30pm.
