Gilda B. Piacitelli

91, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at South County Hospital. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Augusto and Paolina (Culla) Piacitelli. Gilda was employed as an office manager for Vargas Mfg. for 43 years before her retirement. She was a longtime, devoted parishioner of St. Bartholomew Church, Providence.

She is survived by her dear sister, Paula Tassinari of Cranston and her late siblings, Stephen Piacitelli, Frank Piacitelli, Ida Picano, Lola Pistoni, Gloria Marcoccio, and Emma Ferrante. She will also be sorely missed by her eleven nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
