Giovannina (Moretti) Papa
81, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Village House, Newport. She was the beloved wife of the late Camillo Papa. Born in Monticelli, Italy, a daughter of the late Emilio and Maria (Moretti) Moretti. Mrs. Papa worked for A & H Mfg. Company for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving children Dr. Alessandro Papa and his wife Dr. Gwyneth Granton of Saunderstown and Dennis Papa and his wife Lori of Mosley, Virginia; loving grandmother of Jillian and Timothy Papa of Brooklyn, NY, and Casey and Daniel Papa of Moseley, Virginia. She was the dear sister of Romeo Moretti and his wife Janice of Cranston and Rosina D'Arezzo and her husband Marco of Cranston.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 20 Hemmingway Drive, East Providence, RI, 02915.
