Giuseppa "Josephine" (Nenna) DiRaimo

of Cranston, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Mario Angelo DiRaimo.  Born in Trivio, Italy, Josephine was a daughter of the late Pietro and Antoinetta (DeMeio) Nenna.

She is survived by her five children, Filomena DiPrete of Cranston, Margaret DiRaimo of East Greenwich, Anna DiRaimo of Smithfield, Mario DiRaimo and his wife Jennifer of MS, and Antoinetta Corl and her husband Curtis of VA.  Josephine was the sister of Antonio Nenna, and the late Victoria Durso, Teresa Troianelli and Genarino Nenna.  She was the cherished grandmother of six and great grandmother of five.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
