Giuseppe Rossi

88, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born 1925 in Alfedena, Italy. There he met and fell in love with his wife of 58 years Domenica Rossi. He worked as a landscaper and mason in both Italy and Germany. He and his wife moved their family to the United States where he continued working as a landscaper and mason until his retirement. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and taking in the beauty of life.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Maria Simmons, Domenic Rossi, Stephanie Curtin and Frank Rossi. He was also the grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 5.
We would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the care they gave to Giuseppe.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8 pm.
