Gladys M. (Engley) Delahunt

88, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Coventry Healthcare Center, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late William Delahunt. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Catlow) Engley. Gladys was a jewelry worker for the former R.N. Koch Company of North Providence for ten years before her retirement, and was previously employed by the former Cranston Print Works. She was a Past Vice President at Harris House, and was an avid Bingo player.

She is survived by her loving son, William B. Engley and his wife Marie of Cranston. Gladys was the cherished grandmother of Zachary Engley and the Godmother of Linda Guadagno. She was the sister of the late Harold and Ralph Engley. Gladys is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME& Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Assumption Church, 791 Potters Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, VISITING HOURS Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
